Rocket City Metrology (RCM) was founded to bridge the gap between cutting-edge measurement technologies and the people and organizations who need them most. Through this LLC, I combine STEM outreach with technical consulting to promote the adoption and understanding of 3D scanning, reverse engineering, and full-surface metrology.
Key Responsibilities & Highlights:STEM Outreach & Education: Lead community and classroom engagement efforts focused on design, 3D scanning, and hands-on learning in digital inspection and engineering.
Technology Advisory:Guide small and large businesses through the complex landscape of modern metrology tools and workflows, helping them select the right technologies and strategies for their needs.
Consulting Services:- Advised a manufacturing company on operations, hardware validation, and software enhancements for their measurement processes. Provided input on organizational strategy related to quality assurance and digital inspection capability.
- Reverse Engineering & Inspection Support: Delivered full-service scanning and inspection for legacy and prototype components, supporting both documentation and rapid development needs.
RCM reflects my passion for advancing manufacturing capability through better measurement—and for making those tools more accessible, whether it’s for a student or a shop floor engineer.
