Johan Cruz is a LEAN manufacturing process expert with over 20 years of leadership experience in industrial metrology, primarily serving the aerospace and automotive industries. Currently serving as Global Vice President at 3D Infotech, he leads delivery and support fulfillment initiatives focused on operational excellence, scalable growth, and customer-driven metrology solutions.Johan studied Electrical Engineering at California State University, Los Angeles, and began his career in aerospace manufacturing as an Engineering Technician before advancing into Metrology Specialist roles. Throughout his career, he has worked on projects for organizations such as Boeing, Northrop Grumman, Lockheed Martin, and NASA, gaining extensive experience in manufacturing systems, quality processes, and dimensional metrology integration.His expertise includes implementing metrology departments, establishing quality processes, integrating advanced metrology systems into production, and driving process optimization across aerospace, automotive, defense, medical, and space industries. Johan has also contributed to major initiatives such as the Mars Rover project and the rapid development of COVID-19 test kits during the pandemic.Since joining 3D Infotech in 2021, Johan has helped strengthen the company’s consulting and metrology engineering services while supporting the adoption of smart manufacturing technologies focused on automation, real-time visibility, and data-driven decision-making
